Also known as 1/8-inch-Jack, 3.5mm Jack or Mini Phone Connector. The smaller Jacks were developed for applications with severe space restrictions. Commonly used on headset portables and for audio connections to some computers and headphone jacks on some TVs. Both mono and stereo versions exist. Note: there is also a 2.5mm version of this plug and socket for applications where space is tighter again!
