A common speaker connector. Available with both solder and solder-less connections, the gold plated spade lugs shown, feature a solder-less "compression" design for rear wire entry. The main advantage of spades is that they offer a large contact surface area. The main disadvantage is that it can be difficult to connect several spades in a tight area (such as the back of a receiver).
