5 Star Cases Limited is a leading manufacturer of specialist cases to a wide variety of applications and industries. For over twenty one years, the company has gained considerable experience in this field. This has been achieved in various ways.

Since its formation, 5 Star has continued to grow into one of Europe’s leading manufacturer of cases and associated products. The company is based at Wisbech, in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens. Having outgrown its previous site, the company moved into its current premises in July 2000. The site now occupies over 27,500 sq ft of production, administration and storage facilities. Here, the company has some of the latest production equipment in the factory, including a CNC machining centre, CNC aluminium cutting saws, hot-melt adhesive systems and foam fabrication machinery. Administration is supported by up to date I.T. systems. A lot of these are designed and configured in-house by 5 Star’s technical department, which increases the ’up time’ of mission critical systems.
Over recent months, the technical department has co-designed a software system that integrates Order Processing, Product Database and Production Scheduling. Again, enhancing the company’s skills and abilities in a wide variety of areas.
5 Star has manufactured cases for many applications and industries. However, its core business is the entertainment sector which amongst others includes Audio Visual, Sound and Lighting, Theatre, Exhibition and Events. In 2001, 5 Star Cases Limited further strengthened its position by acquiring Mossman Trunks, Custom Case Foams and Custom Transit Cases from Custom Cases Limited.
