4 effects are offered in the Beam Wheels Effects range, 3 in black and white effect and 1 in colour. Beam wheels are also silk screened. Used through a smoke haze, they create sensational “laser like” animated beams of light.
The 6” Effect Wheels are toughened glass and are either screen printed or have a full colour transparency laminated onto them. 69 options are available - 46 standard, 4 seasonal, 12 liquid, 4 beam, and 7 sets of Special Effects wheels.
Using 6 Inch Effects Wheels (except Dynagraph, Rotagraph & Crystal Pulse)
To use these effects, you will need to select one of the many available wheel rotators for the Solar, K, Goboshow or Gobopro projectors. (See below for the variations available). As a general rule, the half rpm wheel is recommended for the Liquid wheels and as the standard for most other 6” effects
wheels. Dynagraph, rotagraph & crystal pulse wheels from the Special Effects section come equipped with their own rotators.

Customising 6 Inch Effects Wheels
Depending on the nature of the artwork custom 6 inch
wheels are produced by either screen printing or using Ilfochrome colour ransparencies. For use on our higher powered projectors the latter are laminated
onto toughened glass. See page XX for further details on customisation.
Using 50mm Glass Gobos
To use 50mm Glass Gobos with the Solar or K projectors, you can choose to use either the Autochanger (LA528165), the Gobo holder (LA528195), the Gobo holder/rotator (LA528196), or the Gobo rotator (LA528228). Interestingly, the standard 3” cassette rotator (LA528197) can also be used to rotate 50mm Glass Gobos. To enable this, the Glass Gobo should be fitted to a special Slide cassette (LA528198), transforming your 50mm Glass Gobo into a 3” cassette!
To use 50mm Glass Gobos with the Goboshow or Gobopro projectors, you can choose any one of 3 Autochangers or else any one of the 4 Gobo holders or rotators listed below. All 7 of these units are available in black or white.
