KARAOKE PLAYERS:

What Kind Of Karaoke Player Or Machine Should I Use?

All players or portable machines that we sell will play the most popular Karaoke format – CDG. You may wish your selected model to accommodate other formats such as DVD, VCD or divX. You can read up on the pros and cons of the 4 main Karaoke formats elsewhere on this page.

Home Users
generally use a portable all-in-system or a separate. The all-in-one systems usually provide everything you need – player, amplifier, controls and a microphone or two. It is worth exploring the range of home portable systems we offer – some have built in TVs and / or built-in cassette decks for recording. The separate players are stand alone disc players, which can be incorporated into your home hi-fi in just the same way as you would with a regular CD player. All players have a “video out” phono socket for connection to your TV screen. Some combination systems even have a built in TV which can negate the need to connect to an external TV or monitor.

Professional Users generally use a heavy duty powerful portable console or else incorporate a good quality separate player into their system. For DJs looking to get into Karaoke (or Karaoke MCs looking to get into Djing) there are many options for incorporating two players into the presentation.

All options for both home users and professionals alike are fully explored in our Karaoke Equipment section.
