•100 Programs of up to 100 steps (or scenes) each, that can be assigned to any slider in any order. Any program can be stored into a scene down to 22 layers (allowing a program to become one step in a larger program) providing almost infinite program size.
•Instant recall of up to 1000 pages of slider allocations.
•Touch sensitive control on all pads.
•16 individual slider controls, Joystick control. Any slider, or group of sliders, can be assigned to either the 'x' or 'y' axis of the joystick.
•Any scene or program can be given a unique name of your choice.
•'Search' facility for scene and program names.
•'Dimming' and 'Fade Rate' can be allocated to any scene. 'Automatic fade rates' for smooth slow moving mirrors.
•'Sound response' and 'Chase Speed' or 'Step Duration' in hours, minutes & seconds can be assigned to any program.
•Programs can be timed to music using 'Real Time' (Sound animated programming).
•A memory card is supplied for the safe storage of all programming & current slider applications. Battery back-up retains Merlin's internal memory when the power is disconnected. Authority key prevents unauthorised memory modification.
•Rear illuminated dot matrix displays (With contrast controls) provide continuous information to the user in a choice of 10 languages.
•'Help?' facility instantly explains the functions of all control pads in a choice of 10 languages.
•Control (X) pad provides instant 'Blackout' facility.
•All 16 slider allocations can be activated via a MIDI signal from a keyboard or sequencer. Sliders 1 - 8 have their allocations activated by a footswitch.
•Flexilight supplied to illuminate fascia.
•4 independent DMX line outputs on XLR connectors. (For connection to 0-10v power packs or 10v enabled effects, ask for 'IF32' & 'IF16' DMX to analogue interfaces.
