SOLAR 100C EFFECTS PROJECTOR

The OPTI Solar 100C is light, compact, and simple to use with optical image quality and reliability synonymous with the OPTI name. The OPTI Solar 100C is ideal for close proximity projection, controlled ambient light conditions, and dynamic point of sale/display. The OPTI Solar 100C is fitted with quartz halogen 100 watt 12 volt M28 lamp with an average life of 2000 hours. The twin gate accepts most OPTI Solar accessories.

LENSES

Lens Selection
All OPTI Kinetics projectors are supplied with an 85mm focusing lens as standard. Alternative focal length lenses are available and are detailed below. In addition a Kaleidoscope Lens (LA528134) and a Zoom Attachment (LA528132) are available for use with the OPTI Solar 250 and the Solar 100C. The Kaleidoscope Lens replaces the focusing lens and repeats an effect as a six sided image. The Zoom attachment varies the focal length of either the 60mm, 85mm, or 100mm lenses by a factor of 0.8 to 1.3. One of the three methods shown below can be used to check which lens is most suited to a particular application.

Calculations
The formulae given enable image sizes or projection distances to be calculated for any given values. (All dimensions must be in mm).

eg: What image size will be achieved with an 85mm lens 3m from the projection surface? Projection distance 3000mm ÷ Focal length of lens 85mm x Object size *40mm = Image size 1412mmØ (1.412m).
