PERCUSSION Time to jam. Play it sweet and low down or bring out the funk. Conjure see-through pads that seep into the consciousness of rhythm. Lay down grooves that rock, pound, swing, and dance into flurries of mechanical madness. Samba. But please, for the love of Mike... don't disco. INSPIRE. PLAY. CREATE.

Drum sounds that shook the world...
The DM5 offers many great features for a budget price. If you're looking for a versatile songwriting and studio tool, the SR-16 , Order Code ME025195, offers a comprehensive selection of drum sounds offered both “dry” and sampled with reverb, internal patterns played by top studio drummers (not just programmed and quantized), and four audio outs. And the beat goes on...
Dynamic Groove
The problem with most drum samples is they're, er, samples - digital snapshots of a particular drum played in a particular way at a particular moment in time. This may be great for triggering a perfect snare crack over and over, but it doesn't make for very exciting drum parts. That's why we include Dynamic Articulation technology in all of our percussion products, which allows drum samples to change timbre based on how hard they're “hit”... just like real drums.
