An audio input function means you can use two additional external signals as sound sources. Gate them to play in sync with your rhythms or tweak them to create unique rhythm patterns.
Drop these sounds into the built-in 16-keypad sequencer and you've got unique rhythms with your own creative signature. You can save up to 256 1 to 4 bar patterns in the internal memory. You can playin real-time beats using the 10 trigger pads. Four of the pads are assignable to any analog modelling sound you produce, two are reserved for the audio input, and the other four permanently control the indespensable PCM sounds - crash, open hi-hat, closed hi-hat and clap.
To add even more life to your patterns you can record the real-time movement of any Electribe•R's oscillator, amp of effect parameters as a Motion Sequence. This lets you change your sounds as your groove progresses in a way that traditional drum machines just can't match! Plus, every rhythm you create can be stored as a pattern that includes a desired knob movement.
The Electribe•R can be controlled from an external sequencer, keyboard, sampler or other computer-based hardware.
