With this compact modelling box creating analog synthesizer, bass and sound effects is as simple as tweaking a knob.
The Electribe•A contains two of the analog modelling tone generators made famous on Korg's Prophecy and Z1 synthesizers. These let you generate the warm, fat tone of rich distortion that make analog sounds stand out.Plus, you can modulate the oscillator using Ring Modulation, Sync or Decimator and finesse your sounds and patterns with effects like Tempo delay, chorus/flanger and distortion.
Sound creation goes a step further with the ability to sync external audio signals to your newly created rhythms. Plus, you can use the Electribe•A's filters and effects to mould your own unique sonic creations.
The built-in step sequencer with 16 pad keys makes it easy for you to program patterns from the sounds you create. The pad keys can also be played as a pitched keyboard in either step or real-time. Volume dynamics and filter frequencies can be modified and recorded into the sequencer as you create sounds or patterns enabling continuous shifts in the sound.
Up to 256 1 to 4 bar patterns can be stored in the internal memory. In addition, you can sync the Electribe•A to other MIDI devices, such as a turntable. Maximum flexibility come from the potential for external control from a sequencer, keyboard, sampler or other computer-based hardware.
