Smoke Prices Bulletin

 

As a lot of you may be aware, Oil prices have been consistently increasing on a weekly basis.

 

The net result is that Glycol (an oil derivative) prices have now increased by over 50% since last September. This has resulted in a lack of chemicals worldwide available due to market prices and production issues in Europe where the Glycols are produced. Furthermore, manufacturers are getting substantial increases on plastic 5 litre bottles and caps.

 

Taking all these issues into account we have had to increase our Smoke and Haze fluid prices with immediate effect.

 

Regrettably, chemical availability is also limited and we anticipate lead times now being up to 14 days from date of order.

 

Suppliers expect the prices to increase consistently over the next 6 months and if this is correct they forecast increases again by over 50%.

 

We all sincerely hope that this is a short term problem, however, please make sure you place any orders as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
