We simply love these stands. The ability to have a deck stand and overhead rig in a compact area is superb. You can save a small fortune by avoiding using separate rig.
Everybody's ideal stand will be a little bit different, so the fact that there is a whole range of accessories to customise to your stand means you can build it up to your requirements, and still add to it at a later date.
Unlike some stands we've seen, these are made of heavy gauge steel so they are not 'flimsy'. They are made in the UK so we can get all the spare parts should you ever lose a knob, a thumbscrew, etc.
All the accessories are designed specifically for the genuine Ultimax stand. Even G-clamps are specially manufactured for the Ultimax.
Ultimax stands are available in three different widths and with different crossbars for an even more impressive
looking stand. It is also available without the goalpost arrangement, which can be purchased separately if required.
Only genuine Ultimax Stands carry the Ultimax logo - Make sure yours is an Ultimax.
Additional Information
The crossbars supplied are the same length for all Ultimax stands (2500mm). On shorter widths you simply get a longer overhang either side of the base stand. The single crossbar is made of thick gauge steel so it is quite resistant to bending, but if you do heavily point load it, it will sag (obviously!). If you want something that hardly bends at all, and looks good into the bargain, then go for the Eurolite Alu-Show - a little more expensive but it really does perform and looks the business!
